ubai based Gulf Craft has appointed Gregory Yeakle to be their new
Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Erwin Bamps who held the
position for the past 4 years and has now moved on to a new role as
advisor to the board for international matters.
Having shown strong leadership and
delivered growth during his time at
Accudyne Industries as the global
head of its oil and gas division and
the managing director of Milton
Roy and Dosatron, Yeakle is excited
to take the reins at Gulf Craft. Prior to joining the shipyard, Yeakle was
head of operations for Cornerstone Management Consulting where he
worked with the Gulf Craft group. “This experience has helped to ensure
a smooth leadership transition,” says Mohammed Al Shaali, Gulf Craft
group’s chairman.
Mr. Yeakle states that, “These are challenging yet exciting times for the
industry. Innovation and technology are combining to provide amazing
new products and services possible for Gulf Craft. As a lifelong boating
enthusiast, I am delighted to have the opportunity lead Gulf Craft into
the next phase of its global expansion”.

utch superyacht builder Royal Huisman has announced the
appointment of Jan Timmerman as their new CEO. In a statement
Royal Huisman says Timmerman has a longstanding and successful track
record as managing director and president of international businesses in
the fields of premium coated aluminium and lighting solutions.
“I am very much looking forward to maintaining and expanding the
success of Royal Huisman through blending 21st Century technology
and innovation, traditional craftsmanship and timeless values,”
said Timmerman.
On behalf of Royal Huisman’s shareholders and supervisory board, Jan
Willem Doeksen commented: “We are very pleased to get such an
experienced, international and qualified CEO on board.”
Alongside Timmerman, Royal Huisman’s management team will consist of
Jaap Gelling (technical director) and Harmen Peters (financial director).
