galley transitions seamlessly with the cockpit, courtesy of a vast
sliding pocket door.

Development of a new, world-class service centre is well
underway at Tristram Marine in Hamilton.
Planned for a site adjacent to the trailer boat
manufacturer’s existing production plant, the new service
centre will have purpose-built bays for 24 boat packages,
greatly expanding Tristram Marine’s new boat rigging, after-
sales service, repowering, grooming and detailing capacities.
“Owners from all over the North Island choose our in-
house Service Centre to take care of their Tristram packages,”
says Tristram’s Service Manager, Warwick Pilcher. “Our new
Service Centre design incorporates a customer lounge and
Wi-Fi-enabled business-hub so owners can work remotely
while their boat and engine are being serviced.”
Due for completion in early 2019, the new service
centre will add more than 2,500m^2 of floor space to the
existing production plant and showroom, making Tristram
Marine the largest GRP trailer boat manufacturing, retail
and aftersales facility in New Zealand.
Tristram’s team of factory-trained and authorised
technicians service all makes and models of boats and
engines, using the very latest outboard and sterndrive
diagnostic technology.

Coast Marine Brokers has been appointed the local agent for Novatec Yachts, says
company principal Bryce Taylor.
The team at Novatec has been working with Carlo Mezzera to develop the
new S65 SuperNova, designed to embrace contemporary, innovative and stylish
on-water experiences.
The S65 goes a long way towards providing a New York apartment for exclusive
entertaining and luxurious adventures with the family, says Taylor.
Coast Marine Brokers encourages potential owners to become involved in a
relationship that transcends a boat purchase, and which, says Taylor, becomes a
rewarding and enjoyable experience.
“As part of this experience you will be encouraged to visit the boat yard and
push the boundaries of interior design to achieve a custom décor that will not only
be aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and totally practical.”
He says owners of a new S65 will definitely stand out from the crowd.
The first S65 is already in the mould. Launch day is scheduled for this November.
