yacht, American Scott Nichols had
WESMAR’s new DSP5000 Digital
Stabilisers installed on his new
vessel, M/Y Rumbera, a sports
fishing yacht built by Sea Force IX.
The Florida-based vessel was
fitted with 9.5-square-foot fins,
each with dual cylinder actuators.
WESMAR’s neutrally buoyant fin set
is controlled by a new DSP5000
digital stabiliser, which has been
receiving very strong reviews for its
quiet, precise stabilisation.
Ramsay Marine Mechanical
Services of Riviera Beach, Florida,
did the installation and Rumbera’s
final sea trial was performed out of
Fort Lauderdale, where everything
went very smoothly.
