There are many variables to
consider when ordering a bespoke
dinner set for a superyacht. Will
the yacht be regularly used for
entertaining? Is the dinner service
for formal or informal occasions?
Are serving items required or will
the food arrive already plated?
We always recommend buying
additional pieces to ensure a
smooth service should there be any
dropped or broken items. There is
nothing worse than a wine glass
missing from the setting because
there are no spares on board!
When it comes to creating
bespoke tableware, our team can

incorporate specific details of a dining area
so that the tableware seamlessly integrates
into the space, as well as produce a motif
entirely made up of mini versions of the
yacht’s logo, or design a service reflecting
the owner’s love of engineering.
Moderation is key: if you inject an
intricate pattern or a more sophisticated
design throughout an entire dinner service,

it will detract from the presentation of the
food. It is best to adapt a design across the
different items in the service, either toning
it down or increasing the design complexity
depending on the piece. For instance, we can
let the design on the presentation plate stand
out and then tone down the pattern on the
dinner plate, while still ensuring both plates
complement each other. glancyfawcett.com
