His medium of choice became oil and from that time
forward he worked and studied hard at his new craft,
training himself as a professional marine artist.
Adrian recreated the prized sword on canvas and
brought out the colours as he remembered them.


Being a perfectionist, his persistence was rewarded
when the Lindgren Pitman company bought the
license to use the image, which ultimately ended up
on the cover of a famous sportfishing magazine.
