XJ6 Series 1, factory
manual O/D, 1969. Old
English White, red leather
interior. Mostly original paint/
patina, some cosmetic small
dents and paint defects.
Originally a 2.8 litre car, now
running a 4.2. Original 2.8 litre
engine comes with the car.
New cooling system with
thermo fans, installing
integrated air conditioning,

new stainless steel XJ-S exhaust
system, new tyres plus more.
It is a nice example of the early
sought-after Series 1. It won’t
take a lot to put this car back
on the road. It was Australian
delivered. Phone Dave +61

Daimler Double Six Van
Den Plas Series 2, V12
(carburettor). Chassis
#2P1001BW. 1973, the first
one built, chassis #1, original
matching numbers, complete,
requires restoration. Originally
despatched from Coventry to
Federation Motors, Singapore.
Bought from Queensland, but
for most of its Australian life
was a Canberra car. JDHT
Certificate included. Phone
Dave +61 0452 449 358.

XJ6 Sovereign Series 3
factory manual. Luxury
Pack, sunroof, Pepperpots,
climate control, etc. Sapphire
Blue. Rare factory 5-speed
manual. Solid car, some
rust around screens, paint
requires attention, bumper bars
showing surface rusting and
timber veneer on dashboard
peeling, but otherwise is quite
nice. Will require the usual
mechanical recommissioning
due to being dry stored. Phone
Dave +61 0452 449 358.

1 975 Jaguar XJ-C ex-
Andrew Whyte (Jaguar PR
Manager) car. Chassis #
2J1059. Incredible history as
this is the only XJ-C to leave
Browns Lane without a vinyl
roof, following Andrew Whyte’s
modifications. Other mods
were made to the front bumper
and lower grille area. Andrew
presented the modified car to
management as an example
of how he thought all XJ-Cs
should look. Featured in many
publications including the book

'Jaguar XK – Forty Years On'
by Andrew Whyte. Following
Andrew’s untimely death the
car was brought to Australia
and I purchased it from rural
N.S.W. Still a very solid car,
complete with matching
numbers engine/transmission
and with all of the original
modifications performed
by Andrew intact. Requires
restoration. Phone Dave +61
0452 449 358.
