steel hull was built in
1981 by Victoria’s Derek
Verhey, and Meadows
finished the vessel him-
self, with power from a
GM 4-71 diesel and Twin
Disc gear. He uses it to
troll for salmon, and in
the past has fished tuna
as well. “The plan is to
hopefully get back into
tuna this year,” he notes.
