Alongside Metz’s new appointment, the Boat Division’s
Management Board is evolving to unite
the Group’s teams, brands, design units
and plants. The project is based around
a cross-cutting approach and will be
reflected in the creation of two major

Christophe Caudrelier, previously Chief
Financial Officer in charge of Information

charge of European activities, will retain his
current position and lead the Operational
Excellence Department for the Group.

of its product strategy, will become
Deputy CEO and will head up the Boat
Division’s Product Strategy Department.
The Management Board also now includes Corinne Margot, Group

the current year (three-five per cent growth, based on reported data)
and a stable operating income rate compared with the previous year.
In the UAE, Gulf Craft announced that Gregory Yeakle has stepped
down as the company’s CEO, a year after his appointment in June 2018.
As part of ongoing restructuring, the Board of Directors determined
that Chairman Mohammed Hussein Alshaali will assume the role of
Executive Chairman. Gulf Craft will continue its restructuring plan
and several other announcements will be made in the coming months.
“Gulf Craft’s Board of Directors along with its workforce passes
its appreciation to Gregory Yeakle for the contribution he has put into
the shipyard, wishing him the very best in his future endeavours,” a
company statement read.
In the UK, Princess Yachts’ long-time
Managing Director Chris Gates stepped
down after 30 years with the Plymouth
builder. Gates will transition to a role as
Special Advisor to the Executive Chairman
and CEO, Antony Sheriff, who said the
former Managing Director left his role with
Princess in its strongest-ever position.
“Chris’s contribution to our company’s
success is immeasurable and it is fitting that
Chris’s last year as Managing Director has
been the most successful in our company’s
history,” Sheriff said. “We are grateful to
retain Chris’s enormous experience within
Princess in his new role.”
Matt Pears has joined the Executive Team and Board as Chief
Operating Officer, and will oversee the manufacturing, supply chain
and quality operations. Princess will be launching several new models
