TALLEST LIMOUSINE
From the ground to the roof, the world’s highest limo measures
3.33 m (10 ft 11 in). Built by Gary and Shirley Duval (AUS), it
incorporates an eight-wheel independent suspension system and
sits astride eight monster truck tyres. The car has two separate
8-litre Cadillac engines and took slightly more than 4,000 hr
(166 days) to build.

LARGEST MONSTER TRUCK
Bigfoot 5 is 15 ft 6 in (4.7 m) tall with 3-m-tall (9-ft 10-in)
tyres, and weighs 38,000 lb (17,236 kg). It is one of a
fleet of 17 Bigfoot trucks created by Bob Chandler of St
Louis, Missouri, USA, and was built in the summer of 1986.
Now permanently parked in St Louis, Bigfoot 5 still makes
occasional appearances at exhibitions in local shows.

FIRST MONSTER TRUCK DOUBLE
BACKFLIP OUTSIDE A SCORED COMPETITION
Not content with performing just one reverse flip,
Tom Meents (USA) completed a double backflip
in his 10,000-lb (4,535-kg) Maximum Destruction
truck during a Monster Jam event in Foxborough,
Massachusetts, USA, on 20 Jun 2015. It took him four
attempts to finally pull off this incredibly demanding
stunt. Pictured right, you can see a frame-by-frame
breakdown of Tom’s record-breaking reverse flips.

FIRST ELECTRIC MONSTER TRUCK
Unveiled in Nov 2012, Bigfoot 20 (aka Electro-Foot) is the
first monster truck to be fully powered by an electric motor.
The 5,000-kg (11,000–lb) behemoth features a custom-made
350-hp (260.9-kW) electric motor powered by 30 Odyssey
batteries; six more power the steering system and brakes.
Built by Bigfoot 17 driver Nigel Morris (UK), Bigfoot 20 debuted
at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on 30 Oct 2012.


Classified as a “futuristic
SUV”, the spiky-topped,
1,500-hp (1,118.5-kW) Max D is
one of the most distinctive
trucks on the circuit.

LONGEST MONSTER TRUCK
Brad and Jen Campbell (both USA, above) of Big Toyz Racing built a monster truck that
measured 32 ft (9.75 m) long when inspected at Last Stop in White Hills, Arizona, USA,
on 10 Jul 2014. The Sin City Hustler was originally constructed to ferry tourists around
Las Vegas. It is currently operated by Russ Mann (USA).
