Inaugurated in 2000, this annual event is held in Toronto,
Canada. On 16 Oct 2016, it was the stage for Calum Neff
(CAN) to run the fastest marathon while pushing a pram:
2 hr 31 min 22 sec. The previous year, Neff ran the fastest
half marathon pushing a pram: 1 hr 11 min 27 sec at the
Katy Half Marathon in Katy, Texas, USA, on 6 Feb 2016.
The fastest half marathon in motocross gear (female)
took 2 hr 14 min 34 sec and was achieved by Bridget Burns
(CAN, right) during the Toronto marathon on 16 Oct 2016.
On the same day, Daniel Janetos and Jasper Moester (both
CAN) set new records for the fastest marathon dressed
as a chef and fastest half marathon dressed as a chef,
although both have now been broken. For more speedy

SIMULTANEOUSLY
On 3 Mar 2017, Israeli technology company Mobileye brought
together 1,867 people to don virtual reality displays during
the 2017 YPO EDGE event in Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada. The participants viewed a video that placed them
inside a virtual car, highlighting Mobileye’s cutting-edge
technology in advanced collision-avoidance systems.
The attempt took place during the keynote presentation
