OM in 30 seconds

Use any spare moments you have,
no matter how small, to lengthen and
broaden the body. Even if it’s just to get
up from a chair and stretch. Connect
with the sensation of breathing as often
as you can through your day.
OM Meets Vonetta Winter (p36)

If stressed out and overtired is your norm,
an extended savasana practice could be
the missing link to settling both body and
mind. Being over stimulated with caffeine
and screens won’t trigger your relaxation
response, but savasana can.
Why Do I Need Savasana? (p44)

The seeking for joy has made me feel
gentler in the world. I notice that joy
happens when I am compassionate,
especially towards myself, so I pay closer
attention to my needs these days.
JOY: Conscious Parenting (p110)

“Accepting means you allow yourself to feel
whatever it is you are feeling at that moment. It is
part of the ‘is-ness’ of the now. You can’t argue with
what is. Well, you can, but if you do, you suffer.”
Eckhart Tolle
