soup    can with    a   radius  of  5   feet    and filling it  with    Campbell’s  tomato
soup. If the can is filling up at a rate of 50π cubic feet per minute, and
it fills in 6 minutes, how tall is it?

The first thing to recognize is that if we are talking about cubic feet, then we
are talking about volume. (Square feet are used to talk about area. Plain ol’ feet
are used to talk about distance in a straight line.) If we already know the volume
per minute and the radius, what are we missing? The height. Plug our numbers
into the volume formula:
π × 5^2 × h = 50π
25 × π × h = 50π
