Take Adho Mukha Svanasana
(Downward-Facing Dog Pose)
for 5 slow, conscious
breaths, then move into
Child’s Pose, with your arms
beside you, for 2–3 minutes.
Feel how your heart feels
easy and light in your chest.

This sequence is designed
to help you troubleshoot
posture problems and also
burn calories. The twists
here work both sides of the
body evenly, which pro-
motes both pretty posture
and healthy digestion.

preparation


Begin in Balasana (Child’s
Pose) with your legs to -
gether and fists nestled
between your thighs and
belly. Redirect your breath
to your back body, softening
the muscles and internal
organs. Make sure to do
each pose in this se quence
on both sides of the body.
