IT’S FUNNY HOW QUICKLY things

change. Last issue I was here waxing

lyrical about how much I loved my job,

and now I am here saying goodbye.

Yep – this is my last issue as editor

of Australian Yoga Journal. It’s been

a wonderful journey for me, and I’ve

loved every single minute of it. Most

of all, I’ve loved you guys. In all my

years’ experience as a journalist, I’ve

never come across such a passionate,

engaged and engaging readership.

I’ll miss you all.

I’d also like to make special mention

of our art director, Julitta. She’s been

an absolute legend and an utter pleasure

to work with from the very outset.

Thank you, Julitta – it’s been an honour.

AL’S RIGHT, THINGS DO change quickly.

Because change is the essence of life.

Change delivers new friends and makes

old ones stronger. Change creates

treasured memories, pushes us in

new directions and opens us to new

experiences. Change is the very driving

force behind life.

You’ll see Australian Yoga Journal going

through some changes over the coming

months. You’ll see some new elements

introduced as well as some new faces.

You’ll see expanded editorial content

and more from us digitally. We plan to

take a very good magazine and make

it nothing short of great. To do this, we’ll

enlist the help of old friends, like Al and

Julitta, and friends we haven’t met yet.

forward to sharing this journey with you.
