Nena Stojova describes her journey to Morocco’s Valley of the Roses,

a visual feast of colour, beautiful flowers and vibrant people

I

handed in my notice at a prestigious
IT firm and took a flight from
Stockholm to Agadir, Morocco the
next day. I had travelled to Morocco
a few times before, but this time was
special. I was not only going there to soak
in the breathtaking landscapes and swoon
over beautiful handicrafts, I was building a
stronger bond with this land. Fascinated by
the potent natural treasures and an avid
user of them myself, my plan was to create
a platform in which I could share these
beautiful things with the rest of the world via
my new organic skincare brand, Bare Origin.
I went to Morocco in search of a female-
owned argan oil producing cooperative. I
also wanted to film my journey and unveil
my plan for creating this natural skincare
line; a bold step considering I had no
relevant contacts or confirmed information
about anything. Luckily, the universe met
my intention, and I came back to Sweden
with a beautiful video and a contract with a
female-owned cooperative making argan oil.
A few days passed and I had already
started browsing the internet for flights
