Your Morning Routine Blueprint

Set Your God- Time Anchor
Setting your anchor is all about beginning your day on the right
foot and with the right mind- set. God has a purpose for you.
For your life, your years, your months, your days... for today.
Start your day with Him— even if just for a few moments— to
connect with Him and find out what that purpose might be.
Have you ever seen football players drive up to the field,
jump out of their cars, and run straight onto the field for the
championship game? No, that would be ridiculous. That would
never happen. They always connect with the coach first. They
need to know the game plan and where they fit in.
For you, this can be simple daily prayer while you’re lying
in bed. Or it might be a muttered prayer while you hit the
snooze button or race through the house. It might be a recited
memory verse and worship time as you drive through town. It
might be a Bible verse on a sticky note and a heartfelt time of
listening as you brush your teeth.
I pray Psalm 143:8 every morning. Maybe another verse

of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me
the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life” (Ps. 143:8).
Then, as you have time, study the Bible, pray, worship,
journal, do your thing.
Just as we start each day by saying good morning to our
