when a person is asked to do something for Jesus. When our
time came, we knew what to do.”^1
When my time comes, will I know what to do? When your
time comes, will you know what to do? Will either of us even
recognize our call to courage? It might be a daring rescue opera-
tion or simply helping a lost and lonely four- year- old boy.
Our daily time with God is more than just plowing through
a Bible study. It’s about learning more of His Word, bringing
that knowledge and power with us into the rest of the day, and
praying for a heart in tune with His to respond to the needs
all around us.
