Nutrition
Remember when I said fitness doesn’t have to be hard? It
really doesn’t. You don’t even need to start improving your
nutrition by dieting. In fact, I don’t recommend it.
Why? Well, because dieting is hard. It’s time- consuming, and
most people don’t like it. We are pursuing lifelong change. We
want to build consistent habits. We aren’t sprinting marathons.
In fact, did you know that the word marathon comes from
the legend of Pheidippides who ran from Marathon to Athens
to announce the Greek victory in the Battle of Marathon? The
legend says he ran the entire way, all twenty- five miles...
and then, after delivering the message, he collapsed and died.^8
Don’t try to sprint a marathon. Pace yourself.

choices. The sheer act of noticing inspires us to make
wiser decisions. I love how Revelation Wellness founder
Alisa Keeton put it: “Set your mind to make food and fit-
ness decisions based on what would be good and kind
