Do Our Mornings Matter?
Imagine I asked two people to run a mile, and each of them
asked me why. I would probably get drastically different
responses if I told one, “I heard it might be good for your
health,” and I told the other, “There’s a bear chasing you, and
the only safe spot is a mile away.” Our motivation, our why,
can make or break our results.
Maybe you chose this book because you’ve heard it’s a
good idea to have a morning routine. Or maybe you’re reading
because, like me, you’ve reached the end of your rope, and
you’re desperate for a change. Your why will deeply influence
what you get out of our time together. I want you to think
through the reasons you decided to read this book, but I also
want to offer a why for you to consider:
