Why Mornings?

jumping jack. Yes, one jumping jack. Progress— not perfec-
tion, people.
I rewarded myself by lighting a pretty candle, having a carafe
of hot coffee ready, and playing my morning music playlist.
I started getting excited about getting up early. Who does
that?
Me, apparently.
Then I started getting excited about going to bed early.
I didn’t want to be exhausted in the morning. I started get-
ting more rest, more exercise, and more vision for my life. My
streak of terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days slowed to

Not Too Far Gone
What I love about Ezekiel’s story is that God didn’t just
do it Himself and make Ezekiel a spectator of His awesome-
ness, which would have been perfectly fine. Instead, He
allowed Ezekiel to be a part of this crazy miracle. God spoke
through him.
Do areas in your life feel like dry bones? Your spiritual
life? Your marriage? Your relationship with your family or
your children? Your career? Your self- esteem?
I wish I could jump right out of this book, take your hands,
do a crazy dance, and share a fraction of the hope I feel in
Christ. With Him all things are possible. All things.
Your marriage is not too far gone.
Your health is not too far gone.
Your life is not too far gone.
Even death is not beyond His mighty power.
