Here are some questions to ask yourself:
- What helps me wake up? What makes it easier to wake
up? (For example, warm blankets on cold mornings or
a coffee maker on a timer.) - How do I most like to study the Bible?
- Do I prefer to pray in my head or out loud? Sitting or
walking? Praying freely or praying scriptures? - Do I like to journal? If so, what sorts of journaling tools
make it fun for me? Markers, notebooks, question prompts?
When we know what drains us and what fills us, we can
build a morning routine that’s easier to stick with. Then God
can truly fill us to overflowing.
