The place where you live is so delightful, LORD Almighty!
My whole being yearns, pining for the courts of the LORD;
my heart and my body cry out to the living God.
Even a small bird has found a home
and a swallow a nest for herself where she has put her young- right by your altars, LORD Almighty, my King and my God.
Blessed! Those who live in your home are blessed - they praise you all the time.........
Blessed! A person who has you as a refuge is blessed;
the road to worship is in their heart.
Those who pass through the arid valley make it a place of springs,
the rain covers it with blessings.
They go from strength to strength;
until the God of gods will be seen in Zion.
LORD God Almighty, hear my prayer.
Please listen, God of Jacob.........
See the one who defends us, O God
and look on the face of your anointed.A day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere,
so I would rather stand at the door of the house of my God
than live with evildoers.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
the LORD gives favour and honour;
he does not withhold good things from those who live blameless lives.
LORD Almighty, the one who trusts in you is so blessed!
