OM Magazine
Issue 90, November 2018
Welcome to the November issue of OM Yoga &
Lifestyle magazine, Britain’s biggest, best and
brightest newsstand yoga title.
It’s time to loosen up that body and unwind
the mind. In this bumper 164-page issue we’ve
got everything you need to fire your practice
during this mega month.
That includes profiles of some the many
fantastic yoga teachers out there, such as
the unique (and infamous) David Sye, plus the
wonderfully talented Steffy White.
There’s lots of practical yoga inside too, including mini sequences
and supporting videos, and some simple postures for improving your
gut health. You’ll also find a detailed report on The Mighty Psoas
muscle, written by Sandra Carson, which will guide you through every
aspect of this unsung hero of the body.
If you’re looking for in-depth insight into some of yoga’s spiritual
or psychological themes then you’re in luck too. We’ve got the next
instalment of our popular A Brief History of Yoga in the West series
written by David Holzer, plus mini meditations, affirmations and
explorations into all aspects of this ancient discipline that is yoga.
For new yoga teachers, we’ve also got a few business tips and tricks
from the experts in our regular Teacher Zone section. And there’s
oodles of inspiration inside as well, including the heart-warming story
of Yogacyle, a charity initiative in the north-west of England that
involves handing over retired yoga mats to the homeless. It’s real yoga
in action.
Whatever you’re up to this month, keep up the practice and have
some fun with it along the way. Enjoy the read and see you on the mat
real soon.
