Sisters Kheris Rogers and Taylor Pollard are co-CEOs of the brand Flexin in My Complexion,
created as a response to the bullying Kheris was receiving because of her dark skin. To support her
sister, Taylor posted a gorgeous pic of the then 10-year-old with a hashtag inspired by a body-
positive phrase shared by their grandmother: #FlexinInHerComplexion. The viral post led to the
duo deciding to share the message. They learned to screen print t-shirts in the family garage. Lupita
Nyong’o isn’t the only celeb who has been spotted wearing the shirt and sharing the hashtag love.
