- Return to Grace
Lesvos, Grece
June 3–13
peaceyogagallery.com
Yoga legends Mark Whitwell,
Angela Farmer, and Victor Van
Kooten join Mark Devenpeck and
Cheri Rae on a retreat in Lesvos,
Greece, that will focus on the
essence and roots of yoga. It’s been
a lifelong dream for Peace Yoga
Gallery owner Cheri Rae and
Triad Yoga and Pilates owner
Mark Allen Devenpeck to curate
an experience that brings together
some of the teachers responsible
for passing on the heart of yoga
to the Western world. The retreat
also features special musical guest
Terra Gold.
The retreat takes place on the
lush, green island of Lesvos, which
is like no other Greek island and
perhaps no other place in the
world. The third largest of the
islands in Greece after Crete and
Evia, Lesvos is virtually unaffected
by mass tourism. This makes it a
perfect place to visit for people who
want to experience the real Greece.
This Return to Greece retreat
is an opportunity to discover your
own yoga, to be in a place that
where you can connect breath with
movement, and to break down any
barriers and to find the light of your
true self.

Journey with Jacci Gruninger and
Lisa Gulotta for a yoga vacation
at Villa Sumaya, located in Santa
Cruz la Laguna on the shores of
Lake Atitlán, in Guatemala. The
lake basin is volcanic in origin,
filling an enormous caldera formed

The landscape features the supreme
grandeur of three volcanoes.
Greet each morning and close
each day with yoga, pranayama,
and meditation, then traverse new
roads as you journey to the deepest
lake in Central America, meet new
people, and explore new ways
of being in your body and in the
world. Options include explor-
ing local sites such as the Chi Chi
market, town of Santiago, hikes
to El Pico De Cielo with local tour
guides and a picnic lunch, and con-
necting with community through
volunteer service.
The spacious schedule allows
time for integration with read-
ing, resting, or just hanging out in
the lush gardens or pool at Villa
Sumaya. The trip includes three
fresh, vegetarian meals daily.
