MAIDEN GRASS
(Miscanthus sinensis
‘Zebrinus’)
Produces green/yellow colour
and a very cuttable flower/seed
head. Matures to two metres
(seven feet).

FEATHER REED GRASS
(Calamagrostis acutiflora
‘Karl Foerster’)
Named the perennial plant of
the year in 2001 for good reason.
A formal, vertical grower that is
dramatic enough that you might
consider planting several of them
in a grouping to attract attention
to one part of your garden.
Grows to 130 cm (51 inches).

TALL GROWING

There are many more
ornamental grasses to choose
from. We would suggest that
you do not limit your thinking
where these popular, low-
maintenance perennials are
concerned. They are winners
in most any garden, and we
predict they will become more
popular as time passes. H
