NISSAN DONATES ULTIMATE
PARKS TITAN
T
he Grand Canyon celebrates its 100th anniversary this year as
a national park, and in the spirit of the centennial, Nissan has
donated the Ultimate Parks Titan to the Grand Canyon Conversancy
to assist in the organization’s Canyon Field School. This was the final
project in Nissan’s Calling All Titans program, in which Titan pickups
were modified and then donated to nonprofit agencies. The Ultimate
Parks Titan started as a gas-powered 2019 Titan XD Pro-4X crew cab
that was upfitted in order to carry five people and a host of equip-
ment deep into the park’s most remote areas. Upgrades included
an Icon 3-inch lift and Hellwig air suspension, 35-inch Nitto Trail
Grappler tires on Method wheels, and a frame extension to fit a CM
Truck Beds custom service body, as well as a 55-gallon fuel tank and
a Rotopax fuel cell. To increase the rig’s carrying capacity, it pulls a
Black Series Camper off-road trailer.

eration fullsize SUVs there. To date, Arlington Assembly has been the
sole producer of the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon and
Yukon XL, and the Cadillac Escalade. This latest round of upgrades fol-
lows an investment of more than $1.4 billion in Arlington since 2015.
