Seymour! As well as cosying up to her
best mate Olivia Newton-John at an
event last week, the star sent her fans
into a frenzy by posting a picture
of her catch up with Dr Quinn Medicine
Woman co-star Joe Lando.
Captioning the cute pic “Summers
with Sully!”, 68-year-old Jane and her
former leading man, who played the
handsome Byron Sully in the hit drama,
looked simply sensational – a fact not
lost on the thousands of fans who
commented on the image.
Jane and Joe (57) have maintained
a close friendship since the pioneer
series ended in 1998, with Jane posting
photos of the pair catching up – often
with the hashtag #bringbackdrquinn.
“They’ve brought back absolutely
everything,” she says. “I have no idea
why they wouldn’t bring Dr Quinn
back. It’s an intelligent show. It’s a great
way of teaching history and morality,
choices and different cultures, and
different thoughts and different waysof choosing to do things in life.”
If Jane succeeds in her crusade,
she may just have a ready-made
co-star in pal Olivia!
The pair have been friends
for decades, and at last week’s
Industry Dance Awards and Cancer
Benefit Show in Los Angeles, Jane finally
shared the story of how the two met.
“I was her sister’s roommate, and
her sister just had a baby, who my
father delivered,” Jane explains.
“My father came home one day
and said, ‘There’s this remarkable
woman, and she sings...’ So I listened
and heard Olivia.”
Since their chance meeting, the two
have shared everything together, and
Jane has been right by Olivia’s side
during all of her cancer battles.
“She is thriving,” tells Jane. “I am just
so happy because it was rough there,
really, really rough. We are very, very
close, we share everything.
“I would never be without her, I am
hopelessly devoted to her.” #JANE’S
