anEmergingLeader,andfinally,whydoyou
thinkthenomineedeservestobelistedasan
EmergingLeader?
Thesubmissionswerefascinating,showingan
enormousbreadthanddepthoftalentacrossthe
industrywheremanyapplicantsdisplayedlead-
ershipqualitiesbothintheofficeandoutside.It
wascompellingtoreadhowmanypeopleengage
involunteeringandnon-profitwork,aswellas
immersethemselvesinfascinatingextra-curricu-
laractivities.
OnecandidateselectedfromtheTop 20 listwill
beawardedtheoverallEmergingLeaderawardat
nextyear’sAdNewsAgencyoftheYearAwards.
ThewinneroftheAdNewsEmergingLeaders
awardwillreceiveanexecutivecoachingprogram
ofeightcoachingsessionsfromAskCoaching,with
anopportunitytoworkontheirprofessionalgoals
andexplorehowtobecomea moreintentional
leader.AskCoaching’sFounderAndrew Sherman
was one of this year’s judges.

entries.Thisyearwearealsomakingpublic

arriveatthecovetedTop 20 list.Tosayit
wasalmostimpossibletochoosethese
exceptionalEmergingLeadersiscertainlyno
understatement.Itwasachallengingprocess,
suchwasthequalityoftheamazingentries.
