trends. ‘I just buy what I like and don’t bow

downtowhat’sinfashion,’shesays.‘We

havehundredsofbooksandtheyarea part

ofthedecorationofthehouse.I alsolove

natureandmydecor,fromartworktothe

colourschemes,oftenreflectsthat.

‘althoughwe’reverypleasedwiththe

outcome,anoldhouselikethiswillnever

betrulyfinished,’saysallison.‘We’dloveto

overhaultheensuiteupstairsandconvert

oneoftheshedsintoa gardenroom,butfor

now, we’re happy to just enjoy our home.’
