factured polymer parts in

production for Ford Motor

Company. The companies

jointly presented the applica-

tions at the Additive Man-

ufacturing for Automotive

Workshop.

The materials industry is continuously finding new ways to gener-

ate stronger polymers that can be used in 3D printing. Most plastic

extrusion models’ limitation will be their nozzle temperature capabil-

ity. Higher-performing and stronger polymers tend to have higher

melting points.
