JARROD BEWLEY
GRASSTRACK
Felt very similar
to the Husqvarna,
just didn’t have
the range of
adjustment as it
doesn’t have a map switch. Turning
was nice, but I found the PDS didn’t
track as good as I wanted. Overall,
just a smooth, plush package.
ENDUROCROSS
Without the map switch I felt it
didn’t pick up quite quick enough
off the bottom for me. Suspension
wise, I was comfortable over all
the technical stuff.
EXTREME ENDURO
It did feel very similar to the
Husqvarna, and actually felt better
on the extreme track than the
endurocross loop to me. I liked
the way I could take off from
a standing start, on a very off-
camber hill. It didn’t give me any
surprises, just felt nice and plush.

JOHN PAYTEN
GRASSTRACK
I liked it, but
couldn’t really
tell much of a
difference between
the KTM and Husky.
Honestly, they felt like the same
bike to me.
ENDUROCROSS
Same as on the grasstrack, I
really couldn’t tell the difference
between the KTM and Husqvarna
so I’d have to say they have the
same good traits to me.
EXTREME ENDURO
Same as before, I can’t actually tell
the difference, between the KTM
or Husqvarna they both felt great
on the extreme track. I thought I
might have a preference between
the PDS and linkage but I didn’t.

OLLY MALONE
GRASSTRACK
Straight up, I found
the KTM soft, and
a little slow on the
grasstrack. But
I really liked the
bike, it had a good sitting position,
super-light clutch feel and just
did everything well. Maybe if I had
more time to play with the power
valve it would feel more powerful
on the grass.
ENDUROCROSS
This was my favourite because it
was so plush smacking into logs.
It just takes it and doesn’t do
anything you don’t expect. The
engine was super smooth, just like
the Husqvarna with a nice, light
clutch pull. It was just nice and
easy to ride.
EXTREME ENDURO
This was my favourite bike on this
track because the suspension and
engine combo is just so friendly,
and super easy to use. Any rocks or
obstacles in the path it just rolled
over so sweetly. Riding up the big
hill was just so easy, and I didn’t
have to think much to do it well.

AARON VINCENT
GRASSTRACK
This was the best
bike for me. I could
put it wherever I
wanted. The power
delivery was very
smooth and I found that made
it easy for me to go wherever I
needed to.
ENDUROCROSS
I really liked the predictable
feeling of the KTM’s suspension.
The engine was very progressive
and easy to use. It did feel nice
and light as well. Overall it was just
a fun, easy package to ride.
EXTREME ENDURO
I found the KTM very similar to
the Husqvarna in all areas, except
the PDS rear-end was a little more
jittery over the rocks and loose
shale. This was my fi rst ride on a
TPI bike and it really excelled in
technical stuff.

WP Xplor 48 was more popular than PDS shock

Powerparts FMF pipe would look better

Kato moulds the grip into its seatcovers

PDS annoyed some riders but it’s safe in rocks

Orange frame has obviously boosted sales...
