Planning
Nancy Mahoney is back with a vision in
red and white. To make her design visu-
ally interesting, Nancy used an assort-
ment of fabrics. Easy Flying Geese units
and oversized blocks make quick work
of putting this design together. The strip
of Flying Geese in the blocks are made
using a foundation to ensure accuracy,
but you can use your favorite method to
make Flying Geese if you prefer.
Use an accurate ¼ ̋ seam allowance
throughout to ensure all elements of
the quilt fi t together well. Handle all bias
edges carefully to avoid distortion.
