Piecing the Blocks

Basics and to Diagram I-A, use white

solid A’s and yellow cherry A’s to

make 4 unit 1’s as shown.

Using sametechniqueandreferring

to Diagram I-B, make 16 unit 2’s us-

ing white solid B’s and blue cher-

ry B’s. Make 32 unit 3’s using white

solid B’s and red star B’s.

Use white star C’s and blue cherry C’s

to make 4 unit 4’s (Diagram I-C).

2 Referring to Diagram II, join 4 red

star E’s, 8 white solid F’s, 8 blue

tone-on-tone G’s, 4 unit 1’s, and a

blue fl oral D into 3 rows. Join rows.

Sew white solid H’s to sides and

white solid I’s to top and bottom to
