Step Two: Press Command-J

(PC: Ctrl-J) to duplicate the

layer. Double-click the dupli-

cate layer’s thumbnail in the

Layers panel to open the Color

Picker, and change the color

to a peach (#ddb798). Click

OK to close the Color Picker,

and leave the blending mode

set to Color and the Opacity

at 15%.

Step Three: Duplicate the

peach fill layer, and change the

new duplicate’s color to light

brown (#b18463). Again, leave

the blending mode set to Color

and the Opacity at 15%.

Step Four: Duplicate the

light-brown fill layer, change

the color to orange (#d44919),

set the blending mode to

Lighter Color, and lower the

Opacity to 5%.

Step Five: Duplicate the

orange fill layer, change the

color to red (#e32d03), set the

blending mode to Color, and

leave the Opacity at 5%. This

shade of red acts as blood ves-

sels in the skin.
