Step 11: Click on one of the image

layers to make it active, and make

a selection of the trees through the

window in the background with

the Quick Selection tool.

Step 12: Create a dark-green

(#333a17) Solid Color fill layer at

the top of the layer stack. Change

the Opacity to 50% and the

blending mode to Color. Name

the layer “Trees.”

Step 13: Duplicate the dark-green

Trees fill layer, and change the

duplicate’s color to a lighter green

(#465420). Change the Opacity to

20% and leave the blend mode set

to Color.

Step 14: Group the Tree layers
together, and name the group
“Trees.” Create a light-yellow
(#f7edca) Solid Color fill layer at
the top of the layer stack. Change
the Opacity to 75% and the blend-
ing mode to Soft Light. Name the
layer “Sunlight sheen on curtains
and glass.”
