XVIIThe second best teaching environment consists of a reg ular classroom. Prior
to class, the instructor rolls a "computer-on-a-cart," which consists of a mi-
crocomputer and a projector on a cart, into the classroom. When needed
during class, the computer is available for use by the instructor or, perhaps,
a student. In this mode, lectures can be presented to much larger size classes
and at some other time students can attend separate computer laboratory
sessions for more individuali zed instruction.
