UPCOMING SHOW PREVIEW / REINERT FINE ART & SCULPTURE GARDEN GALLERY
12/6 -12/16 Charleston, SC
T
his December, Reinert Fine Art & Sculpture
Garden Gallery—at two locations on King Street
in Charleston, South Carolina—will present an exhi-
bition of impressionistic works by Bill Farnsworth
and Heather Arenas. The show, running December 6
through 16, showcases an array of subject matter and
highlights each artist’s individual style.
Farnsworth will exhibit mainly landscapes and
nautical-themed works. The sailboat scene Revelry
depicts a fisherman out on his boat. “The old wooden
fishing boat has been a great subject for me in Sippeo
creek for years,” Farnsworth says. “The sun and boat
seemed to have collied right here.”
Another painting, Boat House, was done from an
8-by-10-inch field study, which doubled in size for the
final composition. “The dappled light always intrigues
me, and I had a lot of fun painting this,” he explains.
Another work that focuses on the lighting is Spot Light,
