to the automated webinar, because what if it doesn't start? What if it
doesn't go off? All these people are going to have to reschedule or do
something else. It could be a nightmare.

But, most of all, some people feel cheated. They feel that they were told
it was going to be a live webinar, and it's actually a replay.

Nowhere in your marketing material should you ever say it is a live
webinar if it is not. People are not dumb. But, some people, when they
hear it is a webinar, assume that it will be live. That assumption is
sometimes enough to throw off their idea of what it is you are actually
doing.

In one of the courses that we still run successfully, we have a $97 weekly
training. I ran this coaching session eight or nine times every Wednesday
night. I ended choosing one particular replay that had the most general
questions that applied to all audiences, and I just automated that.

Although it did free up some time, there were some people that felt
cheated. They sent in support tickets saying that they felt they wasted
their time, because it was automated. But it wasn’t! I responded to every
single one of them personally and said, “Look, I ran this webinar so
many times, that I knew all the questions asked and how to answer them,
so I automated this one webinar that had the best questions. Then I
followed through, and if the question isn’t answered in the course, then I
will answer that question in an email, and actually get some more
questions that way.”

The response was fine for the people that called me out on it, but just to
let you know, some people do feel cheated when they find out that it is an
automated webinar.

We have gone through a little bit of the software platforms earlier, but I
really wanted to go through them in more detail..

For live software, GoToWebinar.com is the trusted authority. It is a little
expensive, with the price I that we talked about earlier. It used to be $97
for the big package, now it is $499 a month, though you can get a 100-
attendee package for $109 a month. It is still worth it. It works all the
time. It does what you expect it to and it has been around forever. There
are no bugs in the software.

What I would do is start with the cheapest package and once you bump
past the 100 normal attendees, then go to the 500 attendees and then
ultimately, the big package. If you can afford an annual plan, that would
be fantastic. You save quite a bit of money.
