H&H: WHERE DO YOU STASH
YOUR STUFF?
SA: I have a weakness for linens
and I love dressing my bed.
I keep my collection of sheets
shams and throws in my
bedroom closet and I converted
a small den into a walk-in closet
for my clothes.

H&H: WHAT’S YOUR BEST ADVICE
FOR THOSE WHO WANT
TO DOWNSIZE?
SA: Be disciplined. Do you
really need a California king-size
bed or would a queen do? How
about buying ebooks instead of
print books?

H&H: WHAT’S THE MOST
SURPRISING BENEFIT OF SMALL-
SPACE LIVING?
SA: It gets me out more. I find
that my lifestyle has changed
and I’m taking advantage of my
downtown location.

Sabrina’s bedroom draws inspiration
from the sherbet-like pastels of the
Caribbean. Blush silk wallpaper is
a luxe backdrop for a blue mohair
headboard. The room’s only
nightstand doubles as a makeup
table lit by a space-saving sconce.
