ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE
Excavated between 1895 and 1897, the
amphitheater of Delphi sits up the hill
from the Temple of Apollo. A massive
space, it was able to seat an audience of
up to 5,000 people. Musical, poetic, and
dramatic performances were staged here.
