The average share of women in national legislatures
is 21.5 percent worldwide. At the current pace,
it will take 52 years to reach gender parity.

have the world’s lowest level of
financial inclusion (1.7 percent)
and employment (5.3 percent).

girls at the primary school level but fall short in the qual-
ity of secondary school education and graduation rates.
