Near the small city of Page,
Arizona, in the US is one of
the most beautiful natural
attractions: Lower Antelope
Canyon. When you arrive, you see nu-
merous metal stairs going down into a
narrow ravine. Secluded in the area of the
Navajo Tribal National
Park, almost like a par-
allel world, a narrow
sandy trail leads
through this nat-
ural spectacle.
While only an in-
conspicuous rock
crevice is recogniz-
able from the surface,
in its depths, nature re-
veals itself in its most beautiful form in
an interplay of light and shadow. The sun-
light entering from different angles trans-
forms the rock formations into colours
ranging from dark brown to intense red-
orange, with yellow-white sunbeams in
between, rays that have found their way
to the bottom of the slot canyon. The tour
takes about an hour and leads along the
narrow winding path, where countless
rock shapes and a breathtaking play of
colours can be enjoyed.

It is one of the most fa-
mous cities, and everyone
has a story to tell about it.
It is a cosmopolitan city
— London. I went there two years ago.
When you talk about London, you prob-
ably think of the most famous sights and
a crowded city. But during my visit, I saw
other sides of it. I had a special feeling
about the place right when I arrived
at the airport. So many open-mind-
ed people. Holborn was my start-
ing point, from where I set out
to discover various parts of Lon-
don. One of the highlights was a
city tour on a double-decker bus,
during which I saw the most famous
sights. The finest shopping tour was
the one I took in Covent Garden.
There you see wonderful little
shops, artists, musicians and
restaurants. Not far from the
London Eye, you’ll discover
a boat where the best fish and
chips are served, and I found a
special Korean restaurant where
you can taste the best deep-fried prawns.
London fascinates us not only with its
gigantic sights, but also with different
types of fashion.
