here is much talk about the demise of old-school,
shop-window estate agency particularly for the
High Net Worth market, but action? Cue, two
distinguished property specialists Robert Windsor and
James McManus. In launching Clifton Property Partners
earlier this year, the two highly experienced Central
London stalwarts have established a multi-disciplinary
property company based at No.3 Hill Street in the heart of
Mayfair, which focuses on offering a comprehensively
professional service to clients and customers. The CPP
office is linked to private members club, 42 Berkeley
Square, which allows for a more discreet and formal setting
for meetings, dining and presentations.
“We wanted to change the perception of our profession
by harnessing the three pillars of knowledge, experience
and service,” says Windsor. “Ours is a very simple model of
exceptional service and professional advice built on nearly
35 years of combined experience in the industry.” The pair,
who boast an exemplary black book of contacts after years
of networking and repeat business, work alongside solicitor
Joanna Ward (a former partner at Taylor Wessing) and
marketing consultant Kim Pattie (who previously worked
for Candy & Candy and Caudwell Collection) to offer a
highly personalised, bespoke service.
“High-end property is a global marketplace,” says McManus
“and it is our in-depth knowledge and understanding of
the local market that our clients consistently call on to assist
in the decision-making process. Clients want us to be
available at 6am or 8pm and consequently we are ‘open all
hours’ using all forms of communication such as
WhatsApp and WeChat. When someone calls up, they get
the two of us and all our experience.”
Proof of CPP’s expertise lies in their early clients which
include super-prime developer Northacre’s No. 1 Palace
Street scheme, Coronado’s One Molyneux Street, Fenton
Whelan’s Greybrook House and Rigby & Rigby, as well as
a selection of individual properties ranging from £795,000
to well above £20million. They also count an Earlcrown

Land’s Clarges Mayfair development among their early
sales. The business has grown since its inception in March,
