Gaming was never easier
The search options on
PlayStation Now are some of
the best we’ve seen. You can find games
using traditional terms such as console or
genre. However, you can also discover
games by their ‘tone’ and ‘style’.Guest stars

The new lower £49.99 yearly
sub (or an £8.99 monthly
payment) looks like a bargain, especially
as Sony now adds time-limited Triple-As.
The first batch includes Uncharted 4, God
Of War, InFamous: Second Son, and GTA V.Download

Sony recommends a 5Mbps
internet connection to
stream PlayStation Now games. However,
early this year a Download button was
added to the service, enabling you to save
selected games directly to your PS4.Y
ou may have missed it, but
over the last year Sony has
slowly been adding games
to its streaming service,
PlayStation Now. It’s gone
from being an awkward side-project
to a genuine ‘Netflix for games’. In
this supplement we’ve played and
tested the games PS Now has to
offer, and come away with a
scorching hot list of must-plays.
This list is different to a classic ‘100
greatest’ lineup as we’ve taken into
account the version of a game on the
service. We’ve considered whether a
game contains all the DLC, is a
remaster or original version, and
whether all the online features work.Getting the list down to 100 has
been a tough ask, but a fun one.

Part of the joy of dipping into
PlayStation Now is getting the chance
to revisit some blockbuster releases
and discover how they have held up
over time. As a bonus you can play
some classic series in their entirety on
PS Now. Retreading the blood and
thunder of the Killzone series, from
the debut entry on PlayStation 2 to the
most recent title on PlayStation 4,
there’s a clear evolution of the
franchise. Culminating, we’d argue,with some outstanding set-piece
events in Killzone 3. But that’s up for
debate, as is the whole list.
Other series to play include the
Kojima-aided reboot of Castlevania, the
last-gen Uncharted trilogy, and the Sly
Racoon series – have you played them
all? Now you can.
Beyond the big hitters PS Now is
also a great way to dip into games
you’ve overlooked, never wanted to
pay full price for, or just missed amid
the deluge of games that get released.
Did you miss a chance to play quirky
platformer Puppeteer or want to
see why people love/hate Deadly
Premonition? Now you can. They’re all
here, and we’ve ranked them. This is Now.
