If you’re unfamiliar with the
series, in Civilization you choose a
leader and set about building your
very own civilisation from scratch- starting in the Stone Age and
progressing all the way through
to the Modern Era. It’s turn-
based, and other players (up to
four humans or AI) are developing
rival civilisations at the same
time. You need to balance
expanding your borders, how you
shape your evolving culture and
technology, and diplomacy with
the other civilisations (which are
just as hungry to grow). It’s a
difficult balancing act, and often
ends up getting away from you;
