Holding hands is a big

feature in the latest game

from Keita Takahashi,

the creator of Katamari

Damacy and Noby Noby

Boy, so appropriately it

has co-op gameplay. You

play a Mayor, lonely at the

start, but quickly you meet

strange new friends who

you welcome into your

town. As the Mayor it’s

your job to make them feel

at home and connect them

through things like holding

hands and ka-booming

(exploding into the air). The

seasons also play a role

as you accumulate more

friends and have a goofy

time. However, Takahashi

promises more narrative

than you might expect.

The best PS VR games are

intuitive, and Gorn is just

that. If you’ve ever closed

your eyes and imagined

going hog-wild on some

gladiators then you’ll know

what to do here. Combat is

completely physics-based,

meaning that all your

smacking and whacking will

have your opponents

careening around the arena

as you experiment with

brutal weapons and tweak

the environments for

over-the-top action. Plentiful

blood will flow as you cause

carnage, but if you’d prefer

a little less guts and gore

the game features a

blood-free Piñata mode so

everyone can have fun.

of the original Deemo – a

strange, mystical journey

through – a mixture of

returning tunes from the

original alongside some new

ones. As well as remaking

the original experience for

PS4, it features PS VR and

PS Move support to bring

you closer to Deemo than

ever possible before.

with enemy wasps who just

won’t beehave. We can even

drone on about the bee

disco dance moves you use

to communicate with your

bee-st of friends. A story

mode promises a stinging

tale of surv-hive-al, as well

as exploration and split-

screen multiplayer.

French dev Agharta Studio is making

a science-fiction PS VR game

that avoids the gloomy tropes of

modern sci-fi. Instead, this game’s set in an

enchanting universe, inspired by the works

of Mœbius and Jean-Claude Mézières, that

feels like it has its own rich culture. You’ll

be travelling in space convoys transporting

cargo, navigating through strange systems,

and dealing with the harmless and harmful

creatures who live among the stars.
