While it was originally founded as a writing instrument
maker in 1906, Montblanc has time and again proven
its fi nesse in venturing outside its comfort zone. Over
the years, the luxury maison has gradually expanded
its offerings, introducing leather goods, timepieces and
jewellery. And like the mountain in the Alps it is named
after, it has surpassed all expectations and defi ned the peak
of each segment.
Montblanc’s leather goods business was arguably a
secondary venture when it was fi rst introduced in the
1920s but it immediately found synergy with the brand’s
spirit of exploration—a theme it has honoured since its
founders traversed the Atlantic to showcase its wares and
craft. Since then, Montblanc has innovated on material and
leather crafting techniques at its leather manufacture in
the heart of Florence, Italy. Balancing form and function,

defi nitely ticks the right boxes for themodern itinerant.
Packing for different types of tripsis easywiththerange
available in fi ve different sizes, spanningfromthe
two-wheel pilot trolley to the four-w
large one. That it is crafted in lightw
polycarbonate and fi tted with
360-degree ball-bearing wheels
makes it a cinch to pull across
different surfaces and manoeuvre
around tight corners.
