The standing secretary gives us a sturdy rectangular box as our
foundation. But the secretary also has two unique features that pose a
challenge. First, it has a built-in desk that protrudes from the outline.
And second, it has a set of glass doors, which means that we’re going
to draw the interior of the piece as well as the exterior—specifically,
a set of shelves—in perspective.
Some of these steps display numerous guidelines, which may look
intimidating. Don’t let the presence of the sketch guidelines
discourage you. You can do this! Just focus on the labels and hints
provided on each step.
