Why electric? With the exception of your pencil, you’ll use your
sharpener as much as or more than any other tool at your disposal. A
hand-twist sharpener will end up driving you insane. I also don’t
recommend the light, battery-operated models. You’ll want
something heavy that sits on your desk and doesn’t move every time
you push a pencil into it.
